She's almost 3!
Well LilliAnn is quite the little lady. It won't be long until we will be celebrating her 3rd Birthday!
At first I was thinking of having a monkey themed birthday party, as she was very into the "No more monkeys jumping on the bed" books. I even thought i would serve monkey bread, and banana cream pie, and had an idea to make up her invataions. But most recently she's became very interested in Cinderella.
When I asked her what kindof birthday party she wanted a monkey or a Cinderella one, she seems to rotate or pick both. So at the moment we have not 100% decided, but i have a feeling we are leaning more into the Cinderella party.
Cinderella is currently one of her favorite movies, along side with Leapfrog's Scout's Number Land. she sometimes asks to watch it daily, and will sit for the whole movie. I've even gone as far as, buy material to make her a Cindrelley dress, it a very complicated pattern, and I've only finished part of the dress, I do have high hopes to finish it before her birthday so she can wear it, as well as use it as a dress up dress.
It's true the kids can say the cutest things. I can only think of 2 on the top of my head. One was when I was asking her are you tired. She says " No I'm not tired. Look! My tongue is tired" and another one was when I asked her is she was all done going to the bathroom "No, momma I still have poopoo in my bottom." I know there has been a dozen others, I need to be better at writing them down. She surprises me with her intelligent just the way she places words into what she wants to say, to get her ideas or questions across.
She's still going strong in taking naps. Horray! There are the days she just plays in her room, but for the most part, she usually does sleep. Funny thing is tho, right now the girls are tag teaming, and i haven't quite gotten them to take naps at the same time, but in a way i count it a blessing because then, I get one on one time, being able to give them special attention to each of them.
For Mothers Day we drove up to Snoqualmie Falls this has been LilliAnn's 3rd trip. It was so beautiful out, unlike last year where it rained. The mist felt good on our faces from the falls.
LilliAnn loves to play outside, and the weather is starting to get better and better. She's a good helper at watering our herbs, vegtables and fruit plants that we are experminting on this year, only time will tell how it will go.
