9 Months ~ Lean Mean Growing.....little girl
LilliAnn's 9 month Birthday.
Again, she is learning so many new things, and it seems all within a short time. LilliAnn is officially a crawler. She can sit to crawl, and crawl to sit. And can crawl to the front door (when its open) in no time. Let's just say the baby gates are up. She is very curious, she loves to play with handles, strings, zippers.
Only a few days ago, one day when daddy went to get her from a nap, she was STANDING. Wow, i still can't believe it, this makes me think she will be walking before her first Birthday. We will see. Also, this week she is working on cutting 4 teeth all at once. All on the top. Not to mention the bottom right side she cut only a week before that. She's been handling it very well, a little rough during the night, but still considering all that happening in that little mouth of hers, i couldn't ask for anything more. She's wonderful. And yes, she is offically using toothpaste.
She likes to imitate you when you make little indian sounds, using that back of her hand, and on car rides you can hear her clicking her tounge to the roof of her mouth. And will do some baby talking. We haven't heard any new words yet that we've noticed, but she sure does like to babble.
She sometimes will crawl over to Bowser bed and lay on it because its so soft, but in the end she is covered in doggy hair. Bowser and LilliAnn will make great companions. She still can't help herself to smile when he is around. Oliver still hasn't gotten used to the idea, although he will lay on the floor, but as soon as she starts to crawl for him, he is off.
Bath time seems to be a favorite of hers, she now is in the Big Girl tub. She loves to splash and play with her toys. She's even gone as far as crying (so far only once) when i took her out of the tub. We try to give her 2 baths a week now that she mobile.
Diaper time can seem challanging at times, because all she wants to do is roll over, and over, and over.
In Sunday school she seems to enjoy interacting with other babies, sometimes she will have 4 or 5 playmates, or sometimes just 1. Either way, i love bringing her to church.
Michael is one of her favorite playmates, they get to spend time together about once a week. Although he is 6 months older then she, she manages to keep up now that shes crawling. One of their favorite things to do, is do a binky swap, over and over again. it's very funny to watch, even tho they have their own in their mouth, they reach out for each others. Soooo, cute.
Claire she was able to play with a few weeks back, when they came for a visit. Claire is getting so big, she is a year ahead of LilliAnn, it's amazing how much she will be able to do in a year.
Another excited 2nd or 3rd cousin LilliAnn got to meet, was Violet for the first time. They even got to go splash in the pool together, and got to hang out in the beautiful weather at the zoo. It was so fun to see all of the Wenger family. We hope to maybe make a trip out to see them in September.
I started this post a week ago, and just now finishing it. I'm almost thinking that 1 month to to far away to update you on our fast growing girl, i feel like i could write about her all day long in the things that she is doing.
So a few things that she is doing allot better now, since i wrote is pulling her self up, on pretty much anything she can. I'm waiting for her to start furniture surfing. We got an area rug today for our main floor, so now she has much better traction.
And i must share tonight she ate some of our dinner. Pansit, which is a Filipino dish, noodles, chicken, carrots, celery, soyssauce, and chicken broth. Which she was gobbling right up, sticky noodles everywhere when she was done, but it was so fun to watch her eat.
LilliAnn had her 9 month check up today, she is our mean lean growing....little girl. Weighing in at 16 lbs and 10oz. And 28" long.
Well, that's all i can think of for now, I'll never be able to say this enough, but we are SO blessed to have her in our lives. She truly is a blessing from the Lord.
