Our Get-A-Way

Well, we've returned from Seaside,OR and had a great time. Bowser was along for the ride, and he was good, so we stopped by McDonald's and got him a plain hamburger. The day was beautiful, we got there around 3. Since we couldn't check into our room until 4 we walked around the promenade and the beach for awhile. Bowser loves to run in the sand. Our room was very nice we stayed at the River Tide Suites, and would recommend it to anyone, who would want to get-a-way for the weekend. It was a little over 3 hours to get there, including potty and lunch stops.

For dinner we stopped by a near by Safeway, and got some TV dinners. When my family went down there for a week, at least one night we would do that, so for old time sakes I wanted to get TV dinners. Brittin got an Swedish Meatball meal, and i got a Fettucini Alfredo meal. Bowser well he got a can of wet food. We sat around for most the night and just relaxed, i even got to take a jetted tub bath. Pretty fancy.

The most exciting part was that for the first time I got to feel the baby hiccups. It was amazing, lots of people have talked about when they had felt there baby having hiccups, and i was quite sad because i hadn't felt them before. Happy Mommy's day Mommy. Brittin was even there to experience it with me.

The next day the weather wasn't so nice. It was cloudy and rainy, but i didn't stop us from wandering around. We had a free breakfast at our hotel. From there, we walked around the main streets, and looked in and out of shops. We even got to play at there arcade, which was allot of fun. We each got a card, with "tokens" on it, and played a variety of games, which only sometimes spat out "tickets" when our cards were empty we fed the ticket machine for a receipt, which we could use to buy a treat or prize. All we could afford with our recipt was a small package of sour patch kids candy. Pretty much the most expensive package of candy i ever bought. Hehe, guess that ok, because we did have allot of fun playing the games. We immediately washed our hands when we were done. We headed down to the corner block were we ate the most yummiest elephant ear. The section we chose was called the "Ear Wax" not too sound appealing, but it was were you could order a half and half of your choice. On Brittin's side he choose the cinnamon and sugar, and on my half, I choose the warm melted chocolate. Soooo, yummy. After that, we looked at a few more shops, and head home.

So last night we headed to Seattle to see Grease. The show wasn't one of my favorites, but I'm still glad that we went, we even got some upgraded seats for free. About 10 rows closer, they were real good seats. That pretty much ended our 3 day get-a-way. It was so nice not to have to worry about work. And Brittin and I got to spend some time just us.

Until next time.
