Leavenworth2011

It's been awhile since we've taken a little family trip. Every year around Christmas time, Leavenworth always come to mind, i want to say it's been a good 10 years since we've been. About 2 weeks ago, i asked Brittin, ok, so when should we go, we picked a day, i rearranged my work schedule, and we were going.
Today was the day Wednesday 7, 2011. (not a weekend...thank goodness) It wasn't crowed...but a perfect day, weather and all. I coun't image going where gobs of people are around, and you aren't allowed to move or look at anything because so many people are around. This way, we got to roam around, without a stroller for the first 3 hours, and LilliAnn got to walk. ( i think she's going to sleep good tonight)

We arrive around noon and stop to get some lunch, talk about 2 peas in a pod...pizza and brats, what a great combination for Brittin and I. Brittin ordered a brat with sauerkraut, and other goodies stacked high, LilliAnn got a Puppy (plain hot dog) and I tried the Calzone. They were both very good, and filled us up.

We then get to town, without wasting any time we start going in and out of all the little shops. It was nice just to look around, we actually didn't buy anything...just food (and gas)

One of the shops we found a SPINNING.....Christmas tree...right up LilliAnn's alley...but wait it even gets better...it spat out snow on the top....so a spinning snowing Christmas tree. It was pretty!

A steamed milk, a buliveran treat, and a pretzel to snack on, this should hold us over till we get home. As the sun started to disappear, the temperature started to drop....fast. So we thought it would be a good time to start our journey back home. LilliAnn passed out for an hour on the way home. She did very well walking/strolling around till after 4, without a nap. It was a nice ride home, i drove there so Brittn drove back home, it was nice until he had to pull over....i don't do the greatest in car rides. It's a trip that I'm very glad we made, there was some snow on the ground, it didn't snow while we were there, but it was pretty. And a trip i would like to make again maybe next year.
