LillAnn is on her way

In just a couple of weeks, it's amazing how many things can happen. LilliAnn is on her way to be ... diaper free. While i don't still see this happening for another couple of months, in just 1 week she has made MUCH progress. While i still see 6 months ahead, and just "hope" for the best that just maybe we will be a 1 baby in diapers house. Praying her trend will cont. and improve. I'm a very proud momma. Her prize for going potty like a big girl, is she get to drop money into her piggy bank. She gets very excited, and likes to count the money going in. One night she even told me she had to go, i didn't even ask her. She ended up going poo poo, I was so proud of her i gave her a dollar, and some change. :)

Earlier this week we made our 2ND family trip to the fair for the year. LilliAnn seemed to enjoy it a little more also, looking at all the animals, chicks and horses. Altho our food was a little disappointing, theres always next year to try and find our "spot" to eat every year. Scones were on the list, and a bag of cotton candy. The "traditional" fair food of course. We walked around some, and ran into a few familiar faces. On our way out, we signed up for our 1st home delivery of farm fresh milk, from the "SmithBrothers"
I'm super excited about this, as we have been buying organic milk, and then had to drop to regular milk, buying organic on occasion. She told us allot of interesting things, that highly interested me. I really don't like buying milk...that has a taste to it. Not to mention she told us the store bought kind usually from farm to fridge can take 3 to 5 weeks. They heat there milk to a hotter temperature (ultra-pasteurized) to make the milk last up to 60 days longer!!!! -wowza...that's to long for milk to just be sitting in a container if you ask me. Not to mention the higher heating takes away some of the natural vitamins the milk has in it. This milk is from there farm to truck right to your house.(24-48 hrs) With out buying the organic, they don't give their cows the harmones (whew) and it tastes yummy fresh.

LilliAnn can pretty much win anyone over with her smile. She's adorable, and gets told this all the time. She has many of her books memorized!!! All we have to do is start saying a sentence, and she can quote the book front to back on about 3-4 different books without hesitation...on the others she just can look at the pages, and knows what they say next. She's new to being 2, but she's pretty smart if you ask me. She can say her ABC's now, and can count pretty good. Knows pretty much all the basic colors, and basic shapes.

As always she has a helpful heart, and is still living up to it. I think she will make a GREAT big sister. She's already proven herself well, when her little cousin Kyle comes over.

She's also gotten her 2ND hair trim, mostly the bangs, I was hoping if I did the small trim it would help her hair grow out a little faster and heathlyer.

Towards the end of the month Mommy and Daddy will be celebrating our 8 year anniversary. We plan to take a small trip to Mt. Rainer, a little different from our usual spot Seaside,OR LilliAnn and Bowser will be accompany us too. :)

She has a very sweet heart, and enjoys praying. At night she likes to list off most her Uncles and Aunties, cousins, Grandparents, animals and thank God for them.

Super sweet moment for me, when she hurt her finger the other day, she asked me to pray for her, it about melted my heart, i was excited to do so. Usually when something is wrong or she hurts, I usually say a little prayer for her. But i so happy when she asked me to pray for her. She even told me while i was brushing my hair, Mommy so pretty. She sure knows, how to make her momma feel special. So grateful she is in our lives, God didn't give her to anyone else but us to take care of her. We are so privileged to do so.
