Something worth blogging about.
It's a Sunday, evening and allot of events seemed to happen in such a short time. So I thought I would share, and document.
Well, it wasn't pee-pee. But LilliAnn has officially went potty in the the toilet. We've been asking her a bit more lately "LilliAnn do you have to go potty?" She will normally say no. Tonight I could tell she was "working on something" so I asked Brittin if he wanted to put her on the potty, she really did not want to. I told her if she went potty on the toilet, she could take a bath, since she was asking about it all evening. She agreed. Brittin, excitedly called me to come see. LilliAnn has officially went poo-poo, in the toilet. HOORAY! She didn't seem to react much in doing so, she just really wanted to take that bath. So, let's hope this trend will continue. I don't think she's ready for the big girl panties yet, but let's pray in the next 6 months she will be diaper free.
Not so exciting event #2. It wasn't even 1 min since we closed her door, after we layed her down for the night, till we were half way in the hall, and heard a big "thud" We hurriedly, opened the door to find our poor little girl on the floor. My very first thought was ... "did she just fall out of her bed?" LilliAnn's never attempted to get out of her crib before, it sad because it was a horrible experience for her, she hit her head on the side table on the way down. She has a big bump to prove it, although she did not break skin to where she would bled, but it scabed, and she's got a pretty good bump on there. She was terrified, not knowing, how did that happen, we sat on the couch and looked at her "My Little Animal Book" for a bit, before we layed her down again. We figured, since it scared her, she won't be trying it again....we hope. But if she does, well i guess LilliAnn will be getting into her toddler bed, a little sooner then we hoped...only by a year.....*gulp*. Let's just pray she stays in there.
Well, that's about all for this evenings events, short and sweet, and something i thought was worth blogging about. Have a good night.
