FamilyDay PumpkinPatch -

Ok, before i update some more great family photos. I wanted to take a little bit to update you on our growing girl.

We recently have gotten 2 new additions to our family of animals, 2 fishys to be exact, Spot and Orange. It's become part of our routine for LilliAnn to feed them before she goes to bed. (recently with in a week - we are already needing to find fishy replacements) luckily tonight she was so tired from not napping, she didn't remember to feed her friend tonight, so that gives me until tomorrow to bring home 2 new friends.

Today is the 2ND time this week LilliAnn has not taken a nap, the 1st time i walk into her room, and she is pant and diaper less - no messes. Today well i wasn't so lucky, here i thought i was the lucky mom, and my kiddo would never be the one to have poop outside her diaper. NOT - haha, so after about an hour, she starts to panic cry, i walk in there because this is not normal for her.....dun-dun-dun....there she is holding out her poopy diaper desperately waiting for me to come rescue her from holding it. Luckily for me she did not try to experiment or play with it...but it still made a stinky mess.
As of tonight, it did not take long for her sweet little eyes to drift to sleep. It's her routine to now, place her LadyBug Star nightlight on "green" every night, and request the "water" sound on her sound machine...with an occasional request for the "ocean" noise. And within the week she will always ask for her "puppy" to go to bed with her, because she secertally knows she get to play with it and all the music and songs it sings, even tho she may think we don't know that. And of course to read a devotion, and pray. Every time she says "Dear" ..it melts my heart.
Speaking of prayer...this one has to be written down, or i just may forget it later but.... Daddy, Mommy and LilliAnn were playing a tickel contest, when LilliAnn got a little rough and hurt my "boobie" I said "Ouch, LilliAnn you need to be careful, that hurt mommy's boobie." She automattailly folds her sweet hands to pray "Dear... please help mommy's boobie all better, Amen" and then proceeded to kiss me all better. Brittin and I were both endeared and were cracking up so hard, tears flowed from my eyes, it was the sweetest most funniest things that happened at the same time.

LilliAnn has become quite the picky eater the last couple weeks, teething (her back molars) may be part of it, but one of her new phrases to use is "i don't like it" sometimes before evening trying what's put in front of her.... we try and not cater to her dislikes, she will just go without, or have to wait until the next snack or meal time. But tonight, sweet success, Hot Dogs!!! "more hot dog, more more hot dog please" wow, her old favorite Mac&Cheese seems to have moved out of the picture to where she won't even touch it. But, tonight i was happy she went to bed with a full tummy.

Last week some of Brittin's family from Philly came up for a visit. Little Violet who is 2 months younger then LilliAnn came to play, and they made very good playmates. Just watching her interact with her mommy and daddy, very much reminded me that LilliAnn does many of the same exact things, in the exact same way. We made it over to Spooner Farms out in Puyallup. The sun even came out to play. PumpkinSpiced lattees, and Hot Chocolate were brought along to help warm some of our tummys. The girls favorite thing to do was splash in all the mud puddles they could find. Luckily for all of us, we brought rain boots. The next day we even got the chance to take the girls in to have there fall pictures taken. We dressed them up in their Harvest Costumes, and even tho we had a very beginner photographer he was able to get a couple of cute shots.

Today we made us "just us" family trip out to the Schitler Family Farms out in Olympia, they have defiantly changed allot of things since we visted them from last year, i was kindof disappointed that you now had to pay to go see all the farm animals, it was what we talked about the whole way there. Even tho it would include a hay ride, and other activites, LilliAnn would have been free, and it was the parents who had to pay....really, I'm going in to to take my child.... BUT....it sounds like it's going to be their new change. We did opt out to do any of the "paying activites" because there were so MANY people there, expcailly for a Tues. Most of them being children for a FieldTrip, we felt that because there was so many, we wound't really get to see any of the animals without other kids trampling over us to get there turn. So for next year, we will make it a goal to visit in the beginning of the month and not wait until later. Even tho they have changed somethings.....the pumpkin picking layout and all, we still were able to capture a few sweet pictures of our little girl, and take home 2 little pumpkins. It's crazy to think next year when we return our new little one will be 8 months old then....eek! :)
LilliAnn is defiantly getting to be more independent. Another new phrase of her is, "No, (mommy-daddy) i got it" ...."i got it" sniff....she can put on her socks,pants,shirts...take off her diaper. And when she's ready or gets frustrated she then, will ask for help.

Potty training is still in the making, she does better or some days and not so good. She seems to be better at it when we are other places "Grandpas-Aunties-Gramies....." I'm curious to see how the next 3 months will take us....we aren't in a hurry, and aren't being pushy about it. I know when she's ready....she'll be ready. In the meantime she will frequently gets asked if she needs to go....and some days i will let her run around in big girl panties, till she has an accident.

Well, unill next time. Thanks for catching up on our growing family, I will never be able to say this enough we are truly blessed by the Lord, and all he has done for us.
