Naomi's Check-up Month 2

Well we have a happy and healthy little girl on our hands. Naomi's 2 month check up went very well, altho we were in the doctors office over an hour.
Naomi weighs in at 10lbs 14oz (49%) and 22 1/4 inches (43%) The doctor said everything looked great and the only thing she needed to work on was growing some hair. She did however leave taking 1 oral and 3 shots in her legs, when she cried after they poked her, it was a very sad cry, but after a little bouncing and shushing she didn't take long to calm right down.

Naomi is a blessing to have around, about 2-3 weeks ago she started to smile. It makes your heart smile just looking at it. Within the last week she's starting to make lil' noises too. So adorable, it's amazing to watch her grow, and we are excited to see the little person who God is molding her to be.

At the end of March, Naomi made her 2nd trip to the zoo, but her 1st time going to the Seattle Woodland Park Zoo. It was for my birthday, it rained, and was cold for most of our trip there. Most of the animals seemed to be "hiding" or "not on exhibit" but we had free tickets that was about to expire, and since i will be returning to work ....TOMORROW" :/ that day was the only day we could go. We enjoyed our time together as a family, and even tried the "Red Mill" for lunch, don't forget the free ice cream from "ColdStone" that i had - we brought home $30 worth of ice cream from Groupon, that i had bought a year ago, not realizing that they were only good for 1 location -in Seattle- so we now have a couple quarts of ice cream that we can snack on for the next month.

Last week I've also returned to work - a little sooner then i had hoped, but instead of taking all
of April off using my sick and vacation, i thought i would stretch it out a little and go back 2 days a week and using my 3rd day as a sick or vataion day, doing that for 4 months seemed to sound better. It wasn't too bad once I got there, it was nice to catch up with my co-workers, and it helped ALOT that daddy brought the girls in on my lunch for both days, talk about spoling me. :) It was great to see them, and while I'm still trying to breastfeed, it worked out well.

She's sleeping better through the night 5-6 hours. Did i mention how blessed I am? :) I've got 2 girls who are super sleepers. Around 8 even 9AM is our usual wake up time. I was reading on BabyCenter.com.....
An interesting note: Whether your baby is a night owl or a morning lark, a long sleeper or short sleeper, that pattern will probably stay the same throughout childhood.
Well I can't complain about that. :) Another side note: she seems to get the hip-ups on a daily basics, sometimes even more then once in a day, it's quite cute.
