15 Months!

First of all, I just wanted to say, how blessed we are, so many things we take for granted, that many people go with out every day. The Lord has faithfully blessed us, with a loving family, a place to call home, and our jobs, food to eat and so many other things. All things are from the Lord. And all glory should be given to him.

Our little girl is now 15 months old. Her check-up went very well, altho i can not find her paper anywhere, i know that she has not quite hit to 20LBS mark yet, she is around the 30 inches range. I called them, so hopefully soon they will send me her paper. She did get 3 shots in her little legs, she let out a little cry, and it wasn't long before she was herself again. The doctor even came back in the room to give her a book, which the nurse normally does before she gives the shots.
LilliAnn loves to walk around, and loves to be outside. A few new things she likes to do is, close doors and gates behind her, luckily our bedroom/bathroom does do not have locks on them, so i don't have to worry about her "locking" herself in. Just today we went our for dinner at Steamers, we gave her a french fry and she loved to dip it in ketchup..over and over. She had the motions down and everything, I could not help to laugh when i was eating some chowder, she pulled my arm closer to her, as a jester to let me know she wanted some, when i gave her a bite , she then pushed my arm away. I found this funny.
Her favorite movie still stands Baby Einstein A Day on the Farm.

Her newest words are
Thank you - dae-dae
Amen - Nnee-me
LilliAnn -Lilli

I'm so proud of her. She also seems to be allot more interested in books, she will often grab a book off the shelf, trot over to where you may be, will hand you a book, and will wait for you to pick her up so she can sit on your lap, so you can read it too her. When you are done, she will go get another one, and repeat this over till about 7 books, depending on her mood.

Foods she enjoys, here is a few news ones for ya, Orange Juice, and pineapple. To much my surprise she likes tart things. In the morning we usually will rotate, having pancakes, to oatmeal, to cereal (Cheerios, life, kix) and peanut butter toast. Snacks she loves to eat cheese and crackers. Lunch she usually have a peanut butter jelly sandwich, or grilled cheese, sometimes we will put a little pizza sauce on it. And a fruit, she is a hit and miss with bananas, she normally will eat them, but there are days when she just rather not have them. Shes recently tried mandarin oranges, which she likes. She still like pears, and applesauce. Dinner we normally try to give her what we are eating, sometime she will eat it, others she will not. She still hasn't gotten meat down to swallow yet, (chicken, ground beef)
I think she pretty much decided she is done with bottles all on her own, i dropped down to giving them to her once in the morning when she wakes up, and once at night before bed. She barley drank 2oz before she was "all done" So on occasion she still give them to her, but still noticed allot of wasted milk that way. So we will see, before we officially put them away.

We have been diligent about reading her a bible story in the morning, and doing a devotion before bed. Along with praying before meals and before bed time. My prayer for LilliAnn is to grow up, knowing and wanting to have a heart that seeks after the Lord.

I was just thinking about how fast fall is here, and almost over, I want to soon, take her out for some fall pictures, i just love how the leaves change colors. Before we know it Thanksgiving will be here.
A little update on the house, Brittin got up 3 sides of all new siding, and we are working on some painting when the weather permits, but soon it looks like we might have to finish up in spring. The house looks wonderful, Brittin really did a wonderful job.
Well, that's all i can think of for now.
Thanks for catching up with us.
