Happy Birthday LilliAnn

It's amazing how time flies. LilliAnn is 1 year old. This year has brought us many joys, and challanges that has brought us closer to the Lord.

Even tho LilliAnn is not walking on her own yet, she gets around very well, when she doesn't think about it, she can stand on her own for moments at a time, and when she realizes she's doing it on her own, she falls to the floor, luckly for her it's not that far down. Her 1 Year check up is not for a couple more weeks, so it's hard to tell extally how much she's changed since her last appt. We see her every day, it's amazing to look back at pictures to see all the changes that has happend. We weigh her own our home scale and she is just barely at the 19lbs mark.

We are giving her half formula half organic milk bottles. I don't want to make the full trasnistion untill we talk to her pediatrician. We still have a pretty good routine going, although she's been slowly getting up earlier and earlier, i was lucky where she'd sleep in till 9:00AM this past week she's made it a habbit of 7:30AM. We start the day off with a bottle, then breakfast an hour later, usally we will make pancakes or waffles, and some fruit. An hour after that she is ready for her first nap, which usally last about an hour. When she wakes up sometime it's a toss up between another bottle, or lunch, such as jelly sandwhich, or cheese sandwhich, and whatever else might sound good for the day, and hour after that, she will have the opposite of what she had earyler. She still takes 2 naps, YAY! Her 2nd nap is around 3. The rest of her day changes depending on the day, sometimes it will involve running errands, taking walks, and i was just thinking we really need to fit the zoo in there more often. I wanted to get a membership and take advantage of it, and here it is, summer almost half over, what an odd year for weather, don't you think? It's very unperdicibale. Then again what isn't? Anything can change at a moment's notice. I just thank the Lord for every day that he has given me.

Bath time is still a favorite of hers, she loves to splash around, and play with her toys, we try and give her one every 3-4 days. It's really cute, because when we are all done, her hair gets very soft and FUZZY. Funny just the other day, she had a very major cowlick, that did not want to fix on its own, i will have to find a picture and post it so you can see.

We recenlly bought her a set of Baby Einstien DVDs, the Animals on the Farm is by far her favorite, she will watch bits and pieces of the other ones, but she is glued when the farm dvd goes on, and gets excited and when she sees the cow puppet and will scream in excitement.

LilliAnn's 1st Birthday:

We are truly blessed to have so many family and friends to show there love to LilliAnn and our family. A beautiful sunny day, just the perfect temeature for a BBQ. Burgers, hotdogs, potato salad, fruit, cupcakes and icecream bars to top off the day. And a beautiful little girl to sing Happy Birthday to. LilliAnn's giant cupcake she loved, toped with whipped cream and blueberries, she wasted no time at all, the blueberries were the first to go, and a little but later she dipped into some of the cake. She wan't shy at all, and seemed to enjoy her self. She recvied many things, which i know she will enjoy to play with, read, and try on.

Speaking of trying on, i was working on folding laundry the other day, it's her new thing to put peices of clothing on top of her head of if she was going to put it on, i doesn't matter if it was a sock or pants, it went on her head...so cute.
