Soon to be 11 months, and going on...
Pretty soon, LilliAnn will be turning 11 months, and I'm still trying to grasp that she will be "1" next month. Can you believe it? Neither can I. She's not allowed to get so big, so fast. But I think that LilliAnn will still always be our little girl.
What a beautiful day today was, i wanted to bask a little bit, and continue in it while writing this.
Farmers Market was wonderful, i enjoy looking at all the good things and walking around, especially with my "family" What a blessing family is. I never want to take it for granted. They are soooo important. And it is my prayer that my family will have a heart after God. Tho we may not understand at times, but life is so short, young or old the Lord knows that day he will take us home. And i know in my heart, that i will spend eternity with Him, and with the ones who know Him as well.
As you might know, we are working on redecorating our house...also know as...painting our house, which is well over due. But I'm excited to see how it will turn out.
LilliAnn grows a little bit everyday, she can pull herself up on just about anything, and doesn't even have to think twice about it. So she's furniture surfing pretty well. It's still a coin toss if she will be walking on her own by her first birthday, we will all have to wait and see.
Soon I will be weaning her off her formula, which she polishes 8oz off nicely, to Organic Whole Milk. I'm a little worried for the "transition" only because i know that she gets all her nutrition from her formula, and won't as much from her milk. We have Incorporated more foods into her diet, just this past week she's tyred homemade strawberry jelly sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, noodles, apciortes, and feddchinni Alfredo and bread sticks *wink, which she must like allot, becasue she eats it "all gone" She's tryed a pickle, for the first time and didn;t like it (as seen on video clip) and today i tyred cucumbers, which she put in her mouth, and took right out, and threw it to the floor. So any ideas for foods high in nutrition for LilliAnn throw them my way. We try and give her peies of our dinner so she can get an idea for new tastes. So we will see how it goes.
New sounds she makes we have a book called "Doggies" given to her by her cousin Claire. 1 dog "woof" 2 dogs "woof" "yap, yap" 3 dogs "woof" "yap yap" "nnn...nnn...nnn" Ok so you get the idea on 9 dogs it goes "Aaaa-ooooooooooooooooooooooo!" which she copies perfectly, she' finds this book on the shelf easily and picks it up over the others. It's one of her most favorite books, she likes to carry it around the house. She still likes being read too, and always smiles when you start to make the doggie sounds. She still loves to say "ya" and will immediately copy you, if you say it first. She likes to sing along, when the radio is playing, it's so cute to listen to her in the back seat. Another cute thing she did on one Sunday, I was holding her in the back of the church, and chuch was just about over, and they always end in song, and there i was, and she starting singing along, loudly in fact, i had to exist, so we wouln;t distract anyone, but it was very cute.
She also, makes a super cute "Ooooo" face, she does this when we say "ut-oh" when she drops something. Daddy tells me she says "momma" allot, when I'm at work. This makes me smile. :)
We are practicing words with her, but she will say them whens shes ready. We still do a little bit of sign language with her, but we kindof have fallen off the horse on that, we are not consistent in it. But we try it with her when we remember.
We are also trying to teach her to pray. Before we eat, and before bed. I can't wait to hear her say "Amen"
Oh, i almost forgot, today there was 2 strawberries form the plants we planted a couple months ago, ripe and ready to eat, as small as they were, the 3 of us shared them, and they were swweeettt, and yummy.
She likes to play with our cell phones, and makes habbit of calling other people. Sometimes she can even squeae in a text. My friend Lydia, has a message saved that LilliAnn left for her. She thinks she said "hi, lydia.umhamummm, i love you, bye." ither way still very cute. She even called Alabama today, with Grammie's cell phone, whom we met not knowly at the Starbucks near the Farmers Market today. It's always nice to run into someone you know, and even better when they are your family.
Well, that's about all i can think of for now. Thanks for following up on our family.
