6 month check-up complete

Yesterday LilliAnn had her check-up, she was very lucky and got to skip her shots because of her fever the day before, we do have to reschedule for next week tho. She did very well, the doctor cleaned out her ears once again, which she didn't approve of. But other then that, she is growing just perfectly. She is 15lbs 1.5oz. The doctor says once they are a little more mobile they are burning more calories. She is 25.5" she mellowed out a little bit in her height. And her head is 17" which brings her up to the 50%. The doctor even gave her a book after her check up was complete.

The things that LilliAnn has accomplished in her 6 months.

She can spin in a circle on the hardwood floor. She even gets her little booty up there, i don't think she if far off from crawling.

She can pick things up with her little hands. Such as the pacifier, she can put it into her mouth, although she likes to bite on the sides more often.

She's so far besides rice cereal she has tried squash, which she LOVES, peas, which she gags on, sweet potatoes, which she seems to eat, but still is unsure of. And i think avocado, and pears are in her "to do" list in the next couple weeks.

Brittin and I both think that we have heard "momma" a few different times, it could just be part of her babbling but, it's still exciting to hear her say some familiar words.

She holds her head up very well, we are practicing sitting up and her own, it's a little hard because if she does come to a crash, it's on the hardwood floor. No fun for her.

She still enjoys being read to. We read to her a bible story everyday from her children's bible. And other story's she enjoys, are The Going to Bed Book, Pajama Time, Hey! Wake Up, BarnYard Dance, these are all books by the same author Saundra Boyton. We've made plenty of trips to the library, and plan to make many more.

I hope to get her 6 month pictures done soon, weather i do them myself or take her in. We are fighting off a little cold, and want to be in tip top shape before she gives her best shot. She has a pretty good routine down. She normally wakes up around 8-8:30. Drinks a bottle, plays, nap time around 10-10:30, sleeps for about an 1 to 2.When she is up we try and feed her a solid food, and top it off with a bottle. Daddy is home around the time she is up, depending on the weather, we try and go out to walk Bowser. We play, read stories, run errands if we need to. She sometimes will take an afternoon nap, around 4ish. Time seems to go by so quickly before we know it it's 8. Usually her bed time.

LilliAnn is quite the ideal baby, she's perfect in every little way. The Lord has truly blessed us.
