Well we may have not made any resolutions this coming year. But it's pretty amazing to look back and see how blessed we have been in the past year. One of our most exciting things was welcoming LilliAnn into our lives. It's pretty amazing how quickly she is growing. In about 5 months, she learned to roll over, tried Rice cereal, she's starting to scoot across the floor, even tho she may only make it a couple inches or turn in a circle. And her little noises she makes. And not to mention her two bottom teeth coming in. Things that i know we do look forward to this year I'm sure she will make it to, is hearing her little voice make words, crawling, and yes I'm sure she will learn to walk by 2011. I'm sure if her mommy and daddy have anything to do with it, when the weather gets nicer we will have made plenty trips to the zoo. And who knows maybe she will even have her first little vacation with us away from home, even if we only make it to OR.
Christmas was great, LilliAnn was very spoiled by all her Aunts and Uncles and of course the grandparents. Christmas eve we spent with Brittin's side of the family, white elepahnt exchange and good company, she even stayed up the whole time in a great mood. And on Christmas day we spent on my side of the family, good food, and she got to see her cousin Clarie from Oregon and Michael. The house was full of babies. It was a great time shared by all.
Soon, LilliAnn will have her 6month check up, and i know we will be posting her new stats then. Since about Christmas time, she has gotten down picking up her pacifier and putting it into her own mouth, its very cute, because at first she couldn't fit it in the right way, now she seems to not have any problems unless she wants to bite on the side. Her two bottom teeth are coming in nicely, I don't think it will be to long until the top teeth come through. Also when she turns 6months we are thinking about putting her to bed in her crib in her own room across the hall from us. I think she may be ready for this, although maybe her mommy might not be. But we are going to give it a try, for nap times we should start soon trying her crib out. She still likes to be swaddled when she sleeps. She hasn't turned over in bed while swaddled, so that is a good thing. Also, I am thinking about trying a real food with her too soon. I am interested in making all of LilliAnn's baby food. I hope it works out well. Avocado anyone? We will keep you posted on how it works out. Well until next time, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
